A NIFLA affiliate in Manassas, VA was targeted by pro-abortion radicals. “The CEO of First Care Women’s Health, Becky Sheetz, told the Washington Examiner, ‘We’re not really surprised because you see what’s happening nationwide. Pregnancy centers play a vital role in the pro-life movement. They empower women by equipping them with knowledge. Through ultrasound screenings and counseling sessions, women gain a better understanding of abortion, the alternatives to abortion and the available resources. “The leak of the draft opinion from the Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Center, which overturns Roe v. Wade, brings out the true nature of the abortion movement. Recent actions show that it is not ‘pro-choice’ but radically ‘pro-abortion.’ A terrorist abortion group calling itself Jane’s Revenge claims responsibility for recent violence against at least 13 pro-life pregnancy centers. “While the violent fringe throws firebombs, the mainstream abortion movement has waged legal war on pregnancy centers—most famously in California, which ordered them to post information on how clients could obtain abortions. That case went all the way to the Supreme Court, which ruled 5-4 in favor of the pregnancy centers in Nifla v. Becerra (2018).” Read the full article here.
