Created Equal – Reflections on the Unalienable Right to Life

“We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights.”

These familiar words from our Declaration of Independence set forth the founding principles of the American Republic. All human beings are created equal and thus, are given by their Creator, the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Yet, modern-day America has departed from these foundational principles – beginning with its denial of the right to life for the unborn. In doing so, America has set itself upon a course that, unless reversed, will lead to its eventual destruction from within.
