The National Institute of Family and Life Advocates is pleased to announce its support for Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court.
NIFLA President Thomas Glessner has released the following statement regarding Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination.
“NIFLA endorses the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Judge Kavanaugh is a well-respected jurist who believes in judicial restraint and that under the Constitution, political decisions must be made by the representatives of the people – not unelected, lifetime-appointed federal judges.”
About the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates
NIFLA is a national nonprofit organization providing legal counsel, education and training for pro-life pregnancy centers and medical clinics. Representing a network of more than 1,400 pregnancy centers across the United States, NIFLA has challenged laws in California and Illinois. NIFLA argued before the U.S. Supreme Court against legislation targeting the free speech rights of its members in NIFLA v. Becerra. The Court issued a verdict in favor of pro-life pregnancy centers in June 2018.
