The following quote may be attributed to National Institute of Family and Life Advocates President Thomas Glessner regarding the attempts of the abortion industry to misappropriate taxpayer funds and pad its pockets in the midst of COVID-19.

“Over the past few months, abortion industry advocates have repeatedly harassed nonprofit pregnancy centers about whether or not they have the right to apply for COVID-19 government relief programs. Planned Parenthood also refused to cease abortion operations during the pandemic and continued to provide death-on-demand procedures that end the lives of innocent children in the womb.

It is the height of irony that Planned Parenthood—a multi-billion dollar industry that received over $1.5 billion in taxpayer funds over the last three years—now feels entitled to taxpayer dollars meant to help small businesses and organizations in need. The last thing Americans should fund with taxpayer dollars is the bailout of this corrupt, cash-rich abortion giant.”

The following quote may be attributed to NIFLA Vice President of Legal Affairs Anne O’Connor.

“Planned Parenthood makes millions every year by deceiving millions of women into seeing death as their best option and selling the results to the highest bidder. While hardly a surprise, their latest self-serving actions show the abortion industry’s true colors. Even during a pandemic, they continue to put profits before patients. Planned Parenthood should return every dollar they stole from the Paycheck Protection Program so funds can go to legitimate small businesses and nonprofits that truly serve women in need.”
