Tea Party three legged milking stool

Will the Tea Party Remember the Genius of the Three Legged Milking Stool?

Political change is blowing in the wind but it is not the change promised by Barack Obama when he ran for the presidency. For sure, Obama has brought political change to the nation, but his transformational policies have meant bigger government, higher taxes, federal subsidies of abortion on demand, and greater governmental control over the lives of American citizens. Hundreds of thousands of citizens across the nation have raised their voices to protest Obama’s policies […]

A Rational Judicial Decision that Protects Human Life

Recently federal judge Royce Lamberth issued a preliminary injunction barring the federal government from funding scientific research that uses stem cells derived from human embryos. The law suit was brought against the federal government by stem cell researchers who said the Obama executive order allowing federal funding for such research from the National Institutes of Health violates federal law prohibiting funding of the destruction of human embryos through scientific research. Judge Lamberth’s ruling cited the […]

The Economy and Abortion

Abortion is a moral and spiritual issue. It is an intense political and social issue. It is also a constitutional and legal issue that has divided the nation, splintered political parties and emotionally devastated millions of people, both men and women. Abortion is also an economic issue. The relationship between the economy and abortion has been studied.  The economic crisis we now face is caused by numerous factors that all relate to flawed governmental policies. […]

Speech at the Virginia State Capitol Grounds

I AM PROUD TO BE A CITIZEN OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA. THE HISTORICAL ROOTS OF VIRGINIA GAVE BIRTH TO THIS GREAT NATION — THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. AND THIS NATION WAS FOUNDED UPON WORDS PENNED BY A FAMOUS VIRGINIAN. WE KNOW THESE WORDS VERY WELL. THEY SAY: WE HOLD THESE TRUTHS TO BE SELF-EVIDENT. THAT ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL AND ENDOWED BY THEIR CREATOR WITH CERTAIN UNALIENABLE RIGHTS. AMONG THESE: LIFE, LIBERTY […]

Ronald Reagan and Crisis Pregnancy Centers

[…]

The Life Choice Election of 2012

The state of the economy continues to be the issue that political commentators and the media proclaim as the number one concern facing Americans in the upcoming election of 2012. Indeed, all of the current Republican candidates for president are emphasizing economic issues as they challenge President Obama’s reelection. The economic situation of our nation is not good. Unemployment is high and the nation is suffering from large numbers of unemployed and larger numbers of […]

It Is Not Just the Economy Stupid!

When Democratic strategist James Carville told the American public, “It’s the economy stupid!”, he was attempting to frame the upcoming elections in his own terms. Across the political spectrum we hear continuous lamentations about the state of the economy and how voter’s economic concerns will determine the political direction of the nation in the next election. Both the Tea Party on the right and Occupy Wall Street on the left show great discontent and anxiety […]
