Claiming that birth control cuts abortion numbers are a favorite talking point of abortion groups like Planned Parenthood, but more and more studies are finding that this is not the case. One of the latest reports comes from the abortion chain British Pregnancy Advisory Services (BPAS). According to the abortion group, half of the women who had abortions in 2016 in the UK were using contraception when they became pregnant, the Metro reports.

New data from the Indiana State Department of Health’s (ISDH) annual abortion report shows that Indiana’s 2016 abortion rate dropped 8.5 percent from 2015. In 2016, there were 7,277 abortions, compared to 7,957 abortions in 2015. Indiana’s abortion rate has declined for eight consecutive years.

A bill headed to Oregon Gov. Kate Brown’s desk would force health insurers and taxpayers to pay for free abortions for residents and illegal immigrants. The radical pro-abortion bill passed the state Senate on Wednesday on a party-line vote, the AP reports. The state House pushed through the bill earlier this week.
